Ulrich Alliance

The Ulrich Alliance is a group of dedicated volunteers who raise awareness and promote the arts throughout our growing community. Alliance members graciously give their time, energy, and enthusiasm to support our public programs, community outreach, and educational engagement. They also fund scholarships for students within the School of Art, Design and Creative Industries. Alliance members are true ambassadors of the arts and the Ulrich.

Ulrich Alliance Scholarship

The Ulrich Alliance awards two $1,000 scholarships annually, one to a graduate student and one to an undergrad in the Wichita State University School of Art, Design & Creative Industries. Fill out the application below or pick up a printed copy at the Ulrich front desk, Monday through Saturday, 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Applications will be accepted until 5 p.m., April 12, 2024.

3 quality digital images of artwork, each labeled with title, medium, and dimensions
Undergraduates: Provide a statement of intent–detailing your artistic interests and goals–fewer than 250 words.
Example: Share what artist or research influenced your work?
How has your work progressed in the last year?
What direction do you see your work evolving in the next year?
Graduates: Provide an artist statement detailing your artistic interests and goals–250 words.
