ART IS NOT OPTIONAL.
IT IS ESSENTIAL TO DAILY LIFE, LEARNING, AND COMMUNITY CONNECTION.
Inspired by this idea, the Art Matters Campaign and its newest initiative, Adopt-a-Sculpture, are designed to secure both the immediate vibrancy and long-term sustainability of the Ulrich. Throughout the campaign, sculptures across Wichita State’s campus will be covered until they’re “adopted” at a ceremonial unveiling celebration.
SUPPORT OF THE ADOPT-A-SCULPTURE CAMPAIGN WILL:
Strengthen the Art Matters Endowment. Half of the adoption gift will be directed to the Art Matters Endowment, the fund that makes it possible for the Ulrich to offer exhibitions, artist talks, educational programming, and community outreach free of charge. This investment ensures long-term stability and growth.
Deliver immediate program impact. The remaining half of the gift will fund upcoming exhibitions and educational initiatives—expanding the Ulrich’s ability to welcome, teach, and inspire thousands of visitors, students, and families each year.
