Out of the Picture (98 minutes) is the first documentary film about art critics in the United States. While focused on the role of the American art critic, the film also explores a universal theme: change. It invites audiences into a broader conversation about art, modern life, and how meaning is shaped in the 21st century. 

A discussion and Q&A with filmmaker Mary Louise Schumacher will follow, hosted by Emily Christensen, co-founder of The SHOUT.
