Artist Lesley Dill offers a visual exploration of her artistic practice and the American visionaries, writers, artists, and abolitionists who inspired her current exhibition, Wilderness: Light Sizzles Around Me. The power of her subjects’ words reminds us of the fortitude required for their voices to be heard and underscores why they resonate with us still.
