Solving for X: 18

I actually live in my mother’s childhood home. It’s a beautiful ranch that sits on a few thousand acres of family land. In this house I am raising three children; two of them daughters. This space is filled with the spirit of both my grandmother and my mother. They’re everywhere, from my grandmother’s grand piano to pottery made by my mother, furniture made in the downstairs wood shop and trees planted by my grandparents. I find strength and peace in the power of this home and this land.
