A man wearing glasses and smiling at the camera

5:30 P.M. Reception | 6:00 P.M. Program. Printing on the Edge of the World. Narrative artist Jos Sances leads a discussion of the contradictions of making politically engaged art in a privileged society obsessed with consumption. He will share the excitement of printmaking, the joys of survival within community, and the practice of examining, accepting and creating while facing a challenged future. If you can't attend in person, you can watch the livestream by clicking here. The “Voices from the Vault: The 1990s” series is made possible by funding from Humanities Kansas, a nonprofit cultural organization that connects communities with history, traditions, and ideas to strengthen civic life.
