DESCRIPTION:WE WILL LIST THE NEW DATE ON THIS PAGE WHEN RESCHEDULED\nIn conjunction with Fully Dimensional: Artists of the Outdoor Sculpture Collection\, sculptor Randy Regier will give an artist’s talk in the form of a staged field demo beside his sculpture\, The Celestial Mechanic (2016-2018). Regier will open the clear dome that encases the partially excavated figure and offer a rare close look at the work\, discussing his process as it connects to archeological procedures and theories. This free event will be in collaboration with WSU Archeology faculty and students in the Department of Anthropology\, and will be held outdoors\, at the sculpture site just north of Ahlberg Hall. Reception onsite at 5:30 p.m.\, program at 6 p.m. Everyone is welcome to attend this free talk.
